Jaylin Taylor of the Radford Bobcats football team has signed to play football at Ferrum College. Taylor will first enter basic training to serve his nation, five days after he graduates. He will then enroll at Ferrum in January 2020. Taylor was used in the secondary and at linebacker at times for this past year’s Bobcat team that went 12-2 and make it to the state semifinals. They lost that game to eventual state champions Graham G-men. He was noted for his jarring hits, the last couple years for the Radford defense.

Radford saw their record improve to 3-15. ” Daniel (Hale) pitched a great game for us,” said Bobcat head coach Drew Cox. ” He had his control today and his curve was working. This was a good team effort with six different kids scoring. We up 1-0 there in the bottom of third and we got back -to- back triples, scored twice and that was big for us.”
Radford will host Glenvar tomorrow ( Friday) in their last regular season game, They will play in the region next week at a team, date, and time to be announced.
